Olaedo, literally meaning Gold,  a name synonymous with Women Empowerment in Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide and  the South East Region.

Just like the precious stones ,gold and diamond which are admired and highly cherished ,but hardly rust, Olaedo, a name fondly associated with the renowned women crusader , Peace  advocate and leader, Chief Mrs. Violet Uche Obiora, has overtime grown to be a household name,beloved, appreciated and seen as a gem.

Her advocacy and good gesture of championing the cause of women in Nigeria, is not a flash in the pan. She has been there for long , witnessed many summers and winters , and at the end , she stooped to triumph and conquer all the odds .

A peep into her pedigree, indicated that she was born an activist with a heart of gold.

It took her involvement in the activities of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos Chapter,before Ndigbo noticed her Sterling qualities and resilience .

For instance , she was for years, the sagacious women leader of the Apex, Pan Igbo Socio – Cultural Organization , Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos State Chapter, working with the likes of the South West Region Coordinator , Chief Everest Ozonweke , Chief Solomon Aguene and others .

That her Incursion into the Igbo social cultural activities ,made her a fortress for both the down trodden and other women of substance  .

One of her undeniable qualities that is  working for her ,is trust , she had positioned herself in a very vintage class that garners trust for her and her Foundation , as Wealthy individuals and  Corporate bodies repose great trust in her ability to manage funds donated for empowerment.

She has planted her foot steps in the sands of time.

Litter wonder , it was an easy cross over for the resilient woman that the Crown fits, moving from Ohanaeze Ndigbo platform to Odinma Umuada Igbo Prestigious Foundation.

For Olaedo and her women empowerment passion, the sky appears to be her begining. 

Indeed, the women adore her greatly , which is exemplified by praises accorded her in the social media by women like:Mrs Agnes Chika Okeke; Benedicta Ugwu; Ify Ikeja; Ngozi Kanu ; Azuka Anosike ; Amaka Aghaejiuba  and Mazi Ifeanyi Nwosu  amongst others.

In her grand Roll out and public awareness campaigns , the foundation highlighted and posed to activate and pursue issues of right violations; Girl Child ; Wife battering ;good governance : skills acquisition ;Agriculture; fashion ; trading; Championing ethnic harmonious co- habitation and reducing sudden death of husbands.
