Panic Grips Opposition , As Eze Chika Nwokedi Led Ndieze Council, Moves To Prosecute Dr. Jonathan Nnaji, Media Aide, Online Media , Over False Defamatory Publication

Confusion and panic is said to have taken over  the hitherto boisterous camp of the embattled self acclaimed Igbo Speaking Community Board of Trustee (BoT) Chairman , Dr.Jonathan Nnaji.

The reported confusion, is coming on the heels of confirmed report of imminent Police and legal action against them, over alleged defamatory ,damaging false publication against Eze Dr. Chika Nwokedi and his Council of Ndieze in lagos State.

News Planet International reports that information from credible and impeccable sources close to Igbo Stakeholders and Platforms, confirmed that already , Dr. Nnaji has through his media Aide,identified as Chief Jude, has  allegedly contacted  Eze Nwokedi and his Council, apologizing profusely and pleading with them to rescind on their planned action to arrest and Prosecute them .

Speaking on the phone with Eze Nwokedi earlier today, the obviously enraged one time Governorship Candidate in Imo State and Founder of “Igbo Buru Otu” Club, said he has no criminal record, hence he vowed to apply every instrumentality of the law, to prosecute all the parties involved in the name calling , cyber bullying and falsehood as reported in the publication.

According to Eze Nwokedi, the imminent  prosecution of the culprits, will act as a deterrence to intending Purveyors of deliberate falsehood and blackmail , as well as redeem his decades earned image as well as  his  Council of Ndieze ‘s Royal name and integrity which the publication tried in vain to erode.

In a pre warning  Voice note sent to Dr. Nnaji’s Media Aide , known as Chief Jude, Eze Nwokedi ,warned that the reporter, Bot Chairman and the Online Newspaper organization that published the defamatory report ,must provide evidence to substantiate all the allegations they published or face the law.

He insisted that his name has been brought to the mud by the report calling him crook, despite that he led Ladipo market and is the Founder of a frontline Association , called “Igbo Buru Otu” Club.

 Maintaining that he is a leader without any criminal Stain or record, he therefore,  called on  Chief Jude,the  media Aide to Dr. Nnaji, who Nwokedi  said was once his customer in Ladipo  Market,to provide and prepare their evidence before the police and court.

When asked  if there is any condition that will restrain him from arresting Dr. Nnaji, his media Aide  and the reporter involved in the publication , Nwokedi, noted that already his team of lawyers, have been briefed and are at the final stage of commencing the prosecution process ,with a view of  apprehending all the suspects involved

However, as a tested leader, he hinted that he would first consult Igbo Speaking Stakeholders ,the Executive members and leadership of the Ndieze Council under his watch, before making any final decisions .

He noted further that it is only an unconditional  apology channeled through another publication in the same online Newspaper , that likely , may be able to calm the situation and then rescind him from the planned actions .

Eze Nwokedi , popularly known as Eze Okpoko, reiterated his Council of Ndieze Position over the absence of the constitutional Igbo Speaking community  13 member BOT membership , which he said ,signifies lack of a legitimate Bot membership quorum  and need for  proper accounting of Election forms money by Dr. Nnaji.

Giving a graphic account of the Genesis of the Crisis in Igbo Speaking, Eze Nwokedi said , his grievance against Nnaji , was his one man show BOT and lack of accountability.

He further more demanded for a refund of the huge sums of  money  which he said Nnaji unduly collected from some of his Ndiezes and proper accounting of the money raised from former secretaries, Ndieze’s registrations and the N200,000 PG contestants deposits.

 It would be recalled that a trending news report published yesterday in PM Express Online Newspaper , had on behalf of Dr. Nnaji , alerted the public to beware of Nwokedi .

The report disowned Eze Nwokedi and his Council of Ndieze,calling them liars and  questionable characters,  stating that they are not authentic Members of Igbo Speaking Community , while describing them as Crooks and impersonators.

 The alleged obnoxious report, credited to a reporter identified as Kingsley  Ebere, was said to have derided  the personality of Eze Nwokedi and his Ndieze Council, bringing them to disrepute and odium .

The publication while quoting  Dr Jonathan Nnaji’s statement on behalf of the BOT, described Eze Nwokedi led Ndieze Council as “a group constituting nuisance led by Chief Nwokedi ,claiming to be Chairman of Council of Ndieze in Lagos State”.

The report also  insinuated that Eze Chika Nwokedi is a fake, was never a President General of Ladipo Market and is not a Chief and traditional leader in his home town, Obodoukwu in Imo State.

Contradicting the allegations in the controversial  publication, some Ladipo Stakeholders and Obodoukwu Town Indegenes resident in Lagos , who spoke to our Correspondent on the grounds of anonymity , all confirmed that Nwokedi was a market leader in Ladipo and traditional Chief  in Obodoukwu respectively.
