Onyendu Ndigbo In Mushin, Comrade Umeh Peter JP, Congratulates Oba Ojoto On His Emergence As Ohanaeze Ndigbo President

Respected Top Igbo Traditional Leader and Onyendu Ndigbo Na Mushin , Comrade Umeh Peter JP, has Congratulated Chief Leonard Okafor, popularly known as Oba Ojoto, on his election as President ,Ohanaeze Ndigbo ,during the just concluded Presidential Election last Monday.
Onyendu Umeh, popularly known as Ozo Ezechimereze 1 , who is also known in the Business World as “Jaganza” , noted that Oba Ojoto has shown determination and steadfastness , which he opined, has yielded him victory at last.
The top Igbo leader , therefore , urged Oba Ojoto to administer impartially and carry all Ndigbo along and show them a sense of belonging, so as to enable his administration to attract more developmental strides and dividends of leadership .
Preaching love and Unity, Onyendu Umeh , explained that ” Divided will fall but United will stand” , hence he urged the new leadership to Repose his trust in God Almighty .
Comrade,Umeh JP, who is a respected Ozo title holder in his home town in Uga, Aguata LGA, Anambra State ,further extended a hearty Congratulation , and urged Chief Leonard Okafor to dedicate his Victory To God, bearing in mind that leadership comes from Above.
With his background as a successful business mogul, Umeh ,further rejoiced with Chief Leonard Okafor over his emergence as President , Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State Chapter and counseled him to be business minded in the discharge of his duties ,so as to attract progress and development to the Igbo Nation.
His congratulatory message is coming on the heels of Chief Leonard Okafor’s April 6,2026, Land Slide Victory, over his closest rival ,Chief Emmanuel Ubah , alias Otunba Ojoto, both candidates are from Ojoto community in Anambra State.
In his goodwill message,on behalf of his Council of Chiefs , Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Mushin , Igbo Speaking Community , Igbo Community , Women Wing, Traders and Youth wing , Onyendu Umeh , who advised Oba Ojoto to liaison with the South East Council of Traditional Rulers, to ensure smooth agreement and acceptance of the new nomenclature change they directed for Ndieze in diaspora ,further Congratulated Oba Ojoto on his land slide victory in the just concluded Ohanaeze Ndigbo election.
He pledged the support , Cooperation and Willingness of Igbo residents under his jurisdiction , to work with the new Oba Ojoto leadership , for peace and progress of Ndigbo in Lagos State and beyond.
For him,the election was very unique and Ordained by God as an expected harbinger of peace.
He called on the winner to embrace and accommodate all oppositions and losers , so as to ensure total return of peace amongst Ndigbo in Lagos.
The election ,according to him, was very symbolic , as it ushered in once again , and opportunity for the long elusive unity and peace in Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos State .
In the spirit of brotherhood, oneness and togetherness, the notable Igbo Speaking Community Chieftain , also enjoined Chief Uba to open his heart and accept hands of friendship and cooperation from Oba Ojoto for greater Igbo Nation.
Enjoining all parties to key to the spirit of the just held Easter , Onyendu Umeh, specifically called all Ndigbo to embrace and emulate The Lord Jesus Christ ,who suffered shame , disgrace and was chastised for our sins. .
Further Calling on all hands to be on deck , Jaganza, appealed to his fellow Ndieze and all other stakeholders, to rally round the new leadership and ensure total peace for a better Igbo Nation and peaceful harmonious Co- existence between Ndigbo and host community .
According to him , Election has come and gone, hence whosoever that have been offended and aggrieved, should for the sake of Igbo Unity ,sacrifice , endure and forgive , to enable Ndigbo forge ahead for total unification.
Recall that Ohanaeze Ndigbo has hitherto been bedeviled with leadership tussle crisis for some years now , until recent peace initiatives and reconciliations between Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene led faction and Chief Sunday Ossai faction, which later broke into two, with Chief Linus Igbudu from same Enugu State laying claim to his own presidency .
