Igbo Speaking Community Debunk Sham Impeachment News, Passes Vote Of Confidence On Chief Sunday Udeh’s Leadership

In a sharp and prompt rebuttal, the elected Members of the Igbo Speaking Community Executive Council in Lagos State,on Monday ,September 7th,2026,condemned the viral but failed plot to create panic, brew crisis and confusion amongst it’s genuine card carrying members,by some persons they described as “imposters and faceless bandit Stakeholders”,who they alleged, staged a fake Impeachment of their President General, High Chief Dr.Amb. Sunday Udeh and published a false baseless dissolution of the Executive Council.Speaking after an emergency General Assembly Meeting held at their Surulere Secretariat, the elected Members of the executive council debunked them false narrative reports and reaffirmed it’s unalloyed support and confidence on the Leadership of its President General, PG Chief Dr. Amb.Sunday Udeh .The Community frowned at what it described as ” diabolical, unwarranted, unconstitutional and baseless failed attempt by some “political jobbers and faceless bandit Stakeholders”,to undermine the Association’s reputation,integrity,credibility and create crisis , division amongst genuine members.While spitting fire against Purveyors of the fake Impeachment News of High Chief Udeh,their President General, the Executive Council , vowed drastic legal actions .The Executive Council also firmly declared as null and void , the viral false news reports of High Chief Udeh’s removal from office and seemingly support by some political jobbers, which are circulating in the social media, describing it as handiwork of con artists,orchestrated by person’s they called “imposters and faceless bandit Stakeholders” .While addressing participants in the well attended meeting by members of the Executive Council and other leaders of the Igbo Speaking Community, including past President General, Chief Chris Ekweilo, Stakeholder – Chief Agu na Emeudo, Chief Udeh who received a rousing ovation while he was speaking, noted that the Igbo Speaking Community Elected Members of the Executive who were sworn in on September 14th, 2025 remained intact.He however warned that any member of the Executive fingered in the failed fake Impeachment charade ,would be suspended after proper investigation.
