IGBO HOUSE BUILDING PROJECT : Chief Solomon Aguene Petitions Anti Graft Agency, Insists Dr. Jonathan Nnaji Must Account For The N25 Million Dozzy Oil Donation

More revelations have continued to emerge concerning the stalled Igbo House Building Project , initiated over 9 years ago by the Igbo Speaking Community in Lagos State, under the leadership of the  Board of Trustees , BOT  Chairman, Dr. Jonathan Nnaji.

Top Igbo Leader, Chief Solomon Aguene , who is spear heading the crusade to unravel the circumstances surrounding the stoppage of the Igbo House Building project and the unaccounted  money collected for the visionary project since over 9 years ago , has vowed to get to the end of the tunnel to unravel the mystery.

 To achieve that, Chief Aguene has therefore petitioned the Anti Graft Agency, over the alleged sudden disappearance of N25 Million donated by the Chairman of Dozzy Oil and Wife, over 9 years ago. 

This petition to the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC),he said , is  part of the process to enable him and other concerned Igbo leaders, who witnessed the public launching and donations collected for the now “dead on arrival” project , to dig deep and find out the truth.

Asked why he has taken a step further in his campaign for accountability in Igbo Speaking Community ,Chief Aguene explained that besides Donating the sum of N500, 000 for the Igbo House Project and being a top  Stakeholder in all the affairs concerning Ndigbo in Lagos,  he was also a former Vice President , Aka Ikenga , during Chief Charles Odunukwe, (Chardon) regime and Vice President ,Ebonyi State, in Igbo Speaking Community, before he was elected Ohanaeze Ndigbo President. 

He therefore warned Dr. Nnaji to assembly all financial records concerning the Igbo House Building project or face the legal consequences .

Aguene’s accountability campaign is coming on the heels of recent agitations and campaign by Eze Dr. Chika Nwakedi and his Council of Ndiezes ,who have been calling on Dr. Nnaji , to account for all the funds collected in the last 20 years of his alleged “One Man show  Board of Trustees (BOT) Chairmanship”, especially Election forms money, Ndieze regularization money, President General forms money and Secretaries , Ndieze  funds etc . 

Chief Aguene emphasized that Dr. Nnaji ,who he said  claims to be the BOT Chairman of Igbo Speaking Community, is in a better position to explain where the Building money is.

He  therefore challenge Nnaji to explain and account to Ndigbo , especially his leader, Chief Sunday Udeh , who is the elected President General of the Igbo Speaking Community.

Speaking in an interview with News Planet International, Aguene elaborated that Chief Sunday Udeh and Prince Andy Moore Ezejioha, were some of witnesses during the  launching and donation by him and  Dozzy Oil .

Debunking Nnaji’s ex- convict allegation against him, Aguene denied ever going to any prison abroad , noting that the statement by Nnaji was reckless and defamatory, adding that every great man or leader, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ,  faces such false allegations, mostly  out of jealousy from oppositions  .

 He therefore  warned Nnaji to provide his proofs and evidences or face legal battle. 

He explained that there is no iota of substance or truth in Nnaji’s ex – convict defamatory allegations ,noting that over 80 percent of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and Igbo Speaking Community members, who usually flock his first house built in 2021 in Victoria Island, visiting for one event or the other, would have known if such a thing ever happened .

While speaking on International exposures, the Igbo Apex leader in Lagos State , explained that he had traveled to Toronto Canada for Exhibition  as far back as 1995 , whereas Nnaji is boasting of traveling to Canada just this year 2026.

This is even as Chief Aguene , provided many photographic  evidences showing some of his early travels abroad, adding that he had spent  summer holidays with his family ,including his German – Canadian  wife , where they moved from  Germany to Toronto Canada in 1997 .

As a responsible leader and family man , Chief Solomon Aguene, noted that contrary to erroneous black mail by some jealous oppositions , he has two children from his Canadian Germany wife, who are presently qualified  pilot and Engineer.

Aguene, also made mockery of Nnaji and therefore asked, why is Nnaji in 2026 

 boasting of travelling to Canada for the first time , whereas he,Aguene, has as at today traveled round most of the best Countries in the world .

He further condemned what he called “Nnaji’s constant disrespect of Ndieze and queried what message Nnaji  is trying to pass by boasting to Ndieze Ndigbo thus, ” Ndieze, Iam in Canada now addressing you people”.

According to him, “it was senseless of Nnaji  , to be directing and commanding  Ndieze from Canada, where he went for a sponsored eye surgery , instructing them on which Ndieze meeting they should attend and what they should do, despite the fact that the  president General of Igbo Speaking in the person of Chief Sunday Udeh, is in Lagos”.
