AIG DUROSINMI COUNSELS NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICERS ON THE NEED TO BE PROFESSIONAL , DEDICATED

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Olatoye A. Durosinmi, has admonished the newly promoted Police Officers on the need to exhibit dedication and ensure professionalism.
The Police Chief said this on the 18th day of March, 2024 while decorating the newly promoted Superintendents of Police at the M.D Abubakar Conference Hall, Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos.
While appreciating the IGP and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) for approving the promotion of the new Superintendents of Police, AIG Durosinmi enjoined them to be professional, respect the rule of law in their dealings with members of the public and be more dedicated in the fight against crime and criminality in the country. “New rank connotes new responsibilities: To whom much is given, much is expected”, the AIG emphasized.
According to the statement signed and dispatched to News Planet International by the Zonal Command’s Police Public Relations Officer,ZPPRO ,SP Ayuba T. Umma, the Zonal Sports Officer, SP Mathias P. Moses who represented the newly promoted Officers in his vote of thanks; appreciated the IGP for finding them deserving of the enviable rank as he promised on behalf of others to live up to expectations and the responsibilities that accompanied the new rank.
