Chief Solomon Aguene, Flies Higher,Redefines Ohanaeze Ndigbo Narrative, Receives Honour With Chief Chidi Anyaegbu,As Global Ambassadors , Lord Mayors

Undaunted , less perturbed by meaningless opposition, the man who has been attributed and acknowledged as first Capacity president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, lagos state chapter, High Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, has once again bring honor to the Igbo Nation, as he along side with another sagacious credible, internationally recognized Igbo Transport business mogul, Chief Anyaegbu Chidi , the  Chairman of Chisco Motors Ltd, Last  Monday ,25th March,2024, were both honoured as Lord Mayors and Global Ambassadors of peace by an affiliate of the United Nations and  United Nations Peace Volunteers, called International Association Of World Peace Advocates.

 The exclusive event,  was attended by prominent dignitaries and diplomates , who praised the humble achievements made by Chief Solomon Aguene and Chief Anyaegbu Chidi.

Most Igbo leaders present at the occasion, expressed their appreciation and gratitude to Chief Aguene for his capacity to have once again put Ohanaeze Ndigbo, lagos state chapter  into global map and international reckoning, even as Chief Aguene said Chief Anyaegbu are now confirmed eminent global Ambassadors and Lord Mayors.

According to  statement credited to the Executive Members of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, lagos state chapter, it stated , “Indeed, every good work deserves a good rewards, as our president, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, has received a diplomatic global award of Lord Mayor and ambassadors of peace, all thank to God for his quality leadership in Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos State have spoken for him.In all ,our capacity president is now a global figure”.

Speaking, a wealthy Igbo Son based in Texas ,USA, Dr. Daniel Duruzor, in an interview with News planet International,said thus: ” I am not surprised that the prominent Art Collector and President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in lagos, Chief Solomon Aguene and the very successful Popular transporter of Chisco Motors fame, were honored with a global recognition. They deserve it because I have authoritatively been told about how Chief Aguene transformed the  Apex Pan Igbo Socio -Cultural Organization,Ohanaeze Ndigbo in lagos State and of course Chief Anyaegbu has done well in the transport sector”.

Infact, it was jubilation galore as the World Peace President, Ambassador Per Stafsen from Denmark, handed over the Chartered Fellowship Certificates to Chief Aguene, Chief Anyaegbu and other recipients.

Some of the top personalities that witnessed the presentation of the awards of Lords Mayor to the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State, Chief (Dr) Solomon Ogbonna Aguene and the founder and Chairman of Chisco Group, Chief (Dr) Chidi Anyaegbu (Chisco), at the  Villa Dome Events Centre, in Ikoyi ,Lagos State, were Ambassador  Per Stafsen, the wife of Ooni of Ife,  Chief Mike Umeh, Eze Udo, Eze Emmanuel Chimereze Chukwuakalikamadu, Eze Ndigbo in Oriade LCDA, lagos state,Eze Lawrence Nnamdi Eze,  other traditional rulers, captains of Industry, friends and well wishers of Chief Aguene and Chief Anyaegbu .

According to the association’s president, Amb. Stafsen,  the recipients were nominated for their outstanding contributions to global peace and by the awards as Mayor, it was more work for humanity.  He stated that by the award, the recipients have been inducted into the hall of fame and they will continue to be Ambassadors for World Peace.

A peep into the personality of Chief Solomon Aguene, shows that he is the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Aguene Art Foundation and President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State, and has used his business connections and leadership position as Ohanaeze President to touch many lives especially the less privileged people in the society through philanthropic gestures over the years.

He has been described by many as a bridge builder and lover of peace and that was why he was given the chieftaincy title “Udochia Ndigbo”, which literally means let peace reign. He is a recipient of several awards both National and International and has capped it up with the Mayor of Peace Ambassador.

While Dr Chidi Anyaegbu is a Nigerian businessman and transport mogul. He is the founder and Chairman of Chisco Group Ltd and Havila Air.

He is from Amichi, Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State  and attended several Management and Entrepreneurial institutions in France, USA, Brazil, Germany, and United Kingdom.

He was conferred with a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (Honoris Causa) by Penn State University, USA.

He ventured into business, started Chisco Transport Nigeria Ltd and subsequently diversified into oil and gas, hospitality, courier services, real estate and other sectors.

Chidi Anyaegbu founded “You Too Can Do It, a nongovernmental organization with the aim to assisting members of the society.

He also built the Chisco Building, a N78 million business faculty at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, for Transport Studies.

Chidi Anyaegbu is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (International) London. He is also an honorary fellow of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Nigeria. He was conferred with the Member of the Order of the Federal Republic ( MFR) and the Distinguished Leadership Award by the Nigerian Police Community Relations Committee, Zone 7.

Chief Anyaegbu is a receiver of the National Merit Award in Transport at the Institute of International Auditors of Nigeria. He is conferred with the traditional title of Okeiyi Amichi and now the global Lord Mayor of Peace Ambassador.

By the Awards they received last Monday, Chief Aguene and Chief Anyaegbu,were recognized as international Figures and were given  a United Nation Red international Passport, UN Identity Cards which guarantees them  to travel to any country without visa and Certificate of Award.
