DEADLY RUMOUR : Charles Emesim Debunks 115 Months USA Imprisonment Reports, Receives Massive Solidarity From Compatriots

A Nigerian resident in the United States of America, USA, Chief Charles Emesim, has debunked the viral rumour of being imprisoned for 115 months, over $700,000 Romance Scam and other sundry crimes, as reported in a YouTube Channel and an Online News paper ,Daily blasting.com.

This is even as Many of his Compatriots, it was learnt , have continued to vouch for his Character, rally round him, as well as accord massive Support to one of their own .
News Planet International learnt that the ongoing solidarity from Nigerians accorded to Emesim, which was said to have gathered momentum recently, appears to have restored his integrity, that the purported publication allegedly tried to maligned.
Debunking the publication, Emesim, who spoke to our Correspondent from his USA base, publicly denied the rumours and reports circulating online that he was sentenced to 105 months in prison in the United States of America.

Speaking also through an earlier statement, Emesim, described the claim as false and malicious.
He said the report was deliberately spread to tarnish his reputation, which he has built over many years.
He told our Correspondent that the story has no basis in fact and appears to be the work of detractors who are unhappy with his position and influence within the community.
Regretting, he said that the rumour and misinformation stressed his love ones and caused unnecessary panic among his family, friends , supporters both in Nigeria and abroad.
Emesim explained that he is currently in good health and residing in the United States, where he continues to carry out his legitimate business activities.
Noting that he is not under any criminal restrictions, arrest, detention or conviction by any Court in the USA , Emesim added that the only business related matter he is indirectly involved, started in 2013 , reopened in 2022 ,and is still a subject before the Judiciary .
He urged members of the public to disregard the social media reports, noting that they are misleading and intended to create confusion.
Chief Emesim emphasized that if he were facing legal issues in the USA, it would be a matter of public record through official court channels.
Indeed, his admirers have expressed relief after hearing directly from him. Many said they were surprised by the rumour, as they had spoken with him recently and found nothing unusual.
He therefore enjoined social media users to verify information before sharing it, warning that spreading false claims can damage lives and reputations.
Emesim , further said that he would not be distracted by the smear campaign and remains committed to serving his people.
He therefore expressed appreciation to those who reached out to confirm his wellbeing when the rumour began to trend.
According to him, ” their support showed the strength of unity within the Ndigbo community in Lagos”.
While reaffirming his commitment to peace and development among Ndigbo in Lagos and beyond, Emesim stated that he would continue to focus on his responsibilities rather than respond to baseless allegations.
