DOUBLE CELEBRATION : Eze Peter Umeh, Wife , Honored, As Awalasi Village In Uga Community,Anambra State, Raises Funds For Their Ultra Modern Civic Center In Lagos. Watch Videos Below

The popular maxims that “Behind any successful man,there is a woman “, was once again replicated last Sunday November 24th,2024, at ‘The Triumphant Place Event Center ‘, Lagoon Estate,Amuwo Odofin, Lagos state, where the calm headed, easy going Eze Ndigbo 1 in Mushin Local Government Area , Eze Chimereze ,Dr. Peter Umeh,JP, Popularly known as “Jamganza” and his heart thromb, Ugoeze Ugochinyere Eze Chimereze Nkiru G. Umeh,were decorated with double awards for their magnanimity and contributions to humanity, especially, the Awalasi Progressive Union,APU , Lagos.

It was indeed ,a triumphant thing of family Joy, a double Celebration of some sort, when Eze Chimereze and his wife, Nkiru ,were honored before their Sons, Cabinet Chiefs such as High Chief Ossy  Umeugo, Akuenwebe,  Sir Betram Umeilechukwu, Chief Tobechukwu Uche , Mr. Matthew  Madubuko, Agbo Cajethan, Friends , Well-wishers and the marmount crowd that trooped to the event.

The meritorious awards was very strategic and symbolic, as Eze Umeh, a Justice of Peace,JP, by the recognition from APU ,proofed that he is indeed a “Prophet” with great honor amongst his people.

In what was described as Financial earthquake by some guests, it was a heavy Naira rain of some sort ,at the multi phase event, as Awalasi Progressive Union , APU’s  ‘Big boys /Money Bags’ and their billionaire friends ,shock the foundation of “The Triumphant Place Event Center”, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos state,with their jaw breaking Mega cash donations.

This heart of giving by the donors, indeed added bite to APU’s fund raising of four hundred million Naira for the building of their proposed Ultra Modern Civic Center In Lagos state.

News Planet International reports that Awalasi Village, a small but might village in Uga Community of Anambra State, had within an hour during the fund raising ,dwarfed the success story of past similar launching events by larger  villages and local Government Areas elsewhere.

The multi million donation floodgate was craftly opened by the lovely,witty, lively and sugar coated mouth Chairman, Fund raising and Organizing   committee, known as Mr.Ebere Ifemeje,  (Onwa ) ,immediately guests were ushered to the high table and the traditional breaking of kolanut was observed.

Awalasi silent Multi millionaires and their super rich friends began to reel out their mouth watering millions donation, which our Correspondent estimated may have reached half the projected cost of the proposed Ultra Modern Civic Center. 

The versatile chairman of the occasion, Chief Emmanuel Umenwa,( Emma Russia), had in his speech elugised the ability of APU members to achieve their goal, considering the enamous human resources and caliber of dignitaries from the community.

Earlier, the gentleman  Chairman of APU, Mr. Innocent  Nwafor, had welcomed the guests , noting that their presence reflected their shared commitments towards achieving the Union goals.

Besides the Fund raising, there was investiture of APU’s Board of trustees, patrons, Grand patrons and Award of Honors, at the same “The Triumphant Place” auditorium in Amuwo Odofin Estate, where Eze Ndigbo 1 in Mushin Local Government Area and popular books merchant, Fondly called “Jamganza”, Eze Peter Umeh, his wife Ugoeze Nkiru Umeh, received meritorious awards individually, for their magnanimity and contributions to humanity, especially APU, and Awalasi Village In Uga Community of Anambra State.

Eze Umeh before the award had made his own individual contribution and his own immediate kindred donation towards the Civic Center building project.

In his acceptance speech, the highly elated,adorable and ever smiling friendly Igbo leader, Eze Umeh,while appreciating the Event Organizing Committee, Chairman of APU, thanked God Almighty for life, success and blessings over himself, family and community. 

As a patron of the Organization, he expressed joy over the gift of honor from APU to himself , Wife and appreciated them with some significant amount of money.

Jamganza ,expressed his joy ,support for the magnificent visionary proposed civic center and prayed for the success of the project ,as it would benefit posterity.

Remarkably, Ugoeze Nkiru Umeh, was one of the leaders of the women dancing group,  that entertained guests with their unique dance styles  .

At the event,assorted foods and drinks were not in short supply, as guests had much to eat and drink, with music supplied by the three wise men.
