“Stop Parading Yourself As Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State” — PG Ndiezes In Diaspora World Wide, Eze Gregory Iloerika,Warn Impersonators To Respect Late Eze Hyacinth Ohazulike’s Igbo Cultural Burial Rites

“Henceforth, punitive measures will be taken against imposters and uncrowned self acclaimed Ezes, who are Parading themselves as Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State”.

This warning was dropped today by the current President General, Eze Ndigbo In Diaspora World Wide, Eze Gregory Iloerika, who is currently the Eze Ndigbo of Ondo State.

Eze Iloerika,the enigmatic and soft spoken Igbo Leader, hinted that the warning has become necessary, following reports of impersonation and publications by some over ambitious Claimants to the Late Eze Ndigbo  of Lagos State, Eze Hyacinth Ohazulike’s vacant thrown .

The President General, lampooned such Claimants for selfishly Parading themselves as Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State, before the final burial Rites of the authentic late Title Holder, which he added ,”is tantamount to dishonoring Late Eze Hyacinth Ohazulike and desecrating Igbo Cultural practice “.

Expressing his disappointment at what he described as “recent ugly turn of events”, the PG  of the Group, otherwise known as “Association of Ndieze Na’ Uzo Ije World Wide”, told News Planet International , that he frowned at some recent reports and what he said was”misleading publication in the social media space, sponsored by some selfish minded persons claiming to be Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State, with sole intent of creating criss and confusion, notwithstanding that Ndigbo in Diaspora are still mourning the demise of the late Eze Ohazulike, the authentic Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State, who has not been buried”.

While disclaiming such overzealous exhibition by such culprits,with some evidence which he said is at his disposal, the  PG  therefore chided Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu and others, for Parading themselves as Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State.

He said,” In what capacity and who appointed those Parading themselves?, how can Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu or anyone else at his right mind, be Parading himself as Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State , whereas the authentic late Title Holder, Eze Mpume, is yet to be given a befitting final burial by all Ndieze, which is in the pipeline and planning stage?”.

The PG therefore advised  anyone interested in the vacant position of Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State, to wait few months  after the burial of Eze Mpume , adding that “Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu, should be aware that there are procedures and laid down rules by Ndieze Ndigbo in Diaspora World Wide, that is usually followed before attaining to such position , which could be either through selection , Nomination,appointment, Electoral College or election by Ndieze Ndigbo NA Uzo Ije World Wide”.

According to him,  some of these steps which any genuinely crowned Eze will attain before becoming Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State,entails raising a combined committee of the Association of Eze Ndigbo in Diaspora World Wide and Ohanaeze Ndigbo organization , which  incidentally Eze Nwachukwu is not a member of any of them”.

He finally warned Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu,his members and Non Members ,of the impending grave consequences of causing crisis in Lagos State,  through unauthorized Parading themselves as Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State .

Other Ezes and Igbo Leaders who spoke with News Planet International,on the grounds of anonymity, challenged Eze  Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu, to make public the Authority or platform that crowned him Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State?.

They further berated and warned Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu ,to “Stop Parading himself as Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State ,to avoid breaching the fragile peace which Ndigbo are enjoying in Lagos State at this trying times we are mourning now”
