IGBO UNITY CULTURAL FIESTA : Prince  Gozie Ogidi, Ebube Agu, Ugonabo Masquerade Alor ,  Agbalu Akpo Masquerade ,Abule Ado Masquerade , China Dragon, Amad Hausa Dance, To Show Case At Eze Augustine Sunday Ojukwu’s New Yam Festival On October 24,2025

Igbos in Lagos will next week Friday, October 24, 2025, converge at Trade Fair Motel,Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, Lagos Badagry Express Way, to deliberate on the burning issue of Igbo Unity.

This discourse is in  line with the set aims and objectives of “Eze Ndigbo Na Amuwo Odofin Foundation”, which for years past, have engaged Ndigbo in Lagos on Cultural and intellectual exercise on the need for peace.

In reminiscence  of the foundation’s intellectual symposium and  exercise , this years  Eze Ndigbo Amuwo Odofin  Ofala and New Yam Festivals( Iri ji), will center on the need for Igbo Unity, with the Theme” ka anyi we di na otu “, meaning ” That we may be One”.

 Indeed, Eze Udo 11, Eze Augustine  Sunday Ojukwu, members of his cabinet and Igbo residents in Amuwo Odofin, have once again geared towards re- enacting their yearly uplifting of Igbo culture and traditions come next week Friday, October 24,2025.

Already every arrangements to fete and entertain guests streaming from across the country come Friday, October 24,2025, have been concluded.

The grand event slated for 12 noon, would be held at the prestigious Trade Fair Motel , located inside the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, along Lagos Badagry Express Way, Ojo local government Area, Lagos State.

 Emphasising on the theme of this years Cultural fiesta , one of the major  Organizers and Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Council of Chiefs, High Chief Linus Ikechukwu Onyemaechi, popularly known as Ochiagha, said the event is keyed on Cultural Exchange, while noting  that ”  Ka Anyi we di na otu”, meaning that we may be one, is apt topic, considering the present Ndigbo situation in Nigeria today.

The Organizers of the event, assured guests of maximum cultural and traditional Royal entertainment ,as the  popular Prince Gozie Band International ( aka Gozie Ogidi) ; feared Ebube Agu and Ugonabo masquerade of  Alor ; Agbalu Akpo new masquerade dances ; Abule – Ado Yoruba Masquerade ; Amad Hausa Cultural Dance group ; China Dragon and Lion dances, amongst others, will be on ground to relieve people of high blood pressure.

The event will be anchored under the distinguished Chairmanship of Chief Mathias Enechukwu- ( Ohamadike Nnewi).

The Special Guest of Honor is the Executive Governor of Lagos State , His Excellency , Babajide Sanwo Olu.

Chief Host is the Executive Chairman, Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, Honourable Prince Lanre Sanusi .

While  the host is the Otun Bobaselu of Ado Kingdom , Eze Udo 11,  Eze Augustine Sunday Ojukwu, Eze Ndigbo Na Amuwo Odofin.
