Nigerian Born Finland Soldier , Fred Umeadi , Igwe Professor Ugwunta ,Others, Endorses OZONKPU, Eze Onyeka Ifekandu For Ezendigbo Lagos State Thrown

There appears to be a consensus among some Ndieze Ndigbo in Diaspora ,on who to choose ,to lead them as Ezendigbo of Lagos State.

Impeccable sources reveal that some of these Igbo Leaders may have settled for a fresh hand as new Ezendigbo in Lagos State ,who will replace late Hyacinth Ohazuruike.

This new nomination for Ezendigbo in Lagos State, is coming on the heels of the revealed endorsement and nomination of Eze Amb. Dr. Onyeka Ifekandu by some top Ezendigbo like Nigeria Born Finland Soldier ,Mr.Fred Umeadi and a Royal Father,Igwe Professor Ugwunta.

News Planet International reports that Mr. Umeadi, Igwe Professor Ugwunta and other Igbo Chieftains, who are Igbo Speaking Community Members ,also holds the titles of Ikenga and Onataradike Mma respectively , have privately and publicly endorsed Eze Onyeka Ifekandu ,because of his sterling qualities not only as Eze Ndigbo in Lagos Island ,but as a Renowned Philanthropist , Educational Activist, Business Mogul , Cultural Icon and Ambassador for Peace , as well as for his contributions to humanity.

While endorsing Eze Ifekandu as the new Ezendigbo in Lagos State, the Ezes were quoted as having noted that they settled for him because they discovered that he is a leader with milk of human kindness and passionate about the interests of Ndigbo in general.

They explained that Ndigbo needs Ezendigbo in Lagos State ,who has leadership qualities and have contributed immensely to the progress of Ndigbo and indeed humanity.

Therefore, going by their description and in depth assessment , Ndigbo may have gotten the right candidate to replace the late Eze Ohazuruike ,if eventually Eze Ifekandu accepts to be crowned Ezendigbo in Lagos State.

Our Correspondents also gathered that Igwe Professor Ugwunta and others, are not the only people that have endorsed and nominated Eze Ifekandu to lead Ndigbo in Lagos State. So many groups including traders in Lagos Island, Yoruba Leaders , Obas and Community, some members of Igbo Speaking Community, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, town unions and market men and women have as well nominated Eze Ifekandu for the vacant position.

Those groups believe that Eze Ifekandu fits into the position as a unifier and man of peace with impeccable character ,who will lead Ndigbo and champion a new course with direction for Ndigbo in Lagos State.

However, it was not certain if Eze Ifekandu has accepted or not, but what is certain is that Eze Ifekandu is under intense pressure from various Igbo groups, individuals and Ndieze to accept to lead Ndigbo in Lagos State.

Eze (Amb.) Dr. Onyeka Ifekandu, is the Eze-Igbo of Lagos Island and holds several prestigious ancient traditional chieftaincy titles including Nze Akuomadifu Nkpata Enugwu Ukwu na Umunri and Ozonkpu Omechaluili Ili Ofubochi.

Since he became Eze not long ago, he has demonstrated passion towards the promotion of Igbo customs, culture and tradition in Nigeria. He has continued to preserve Igbo culture by singlehandedly Sponsoring Igbo cultural and traditional festivals, establishing and financing new Igbo Nollywood Films, empowering Traders, Widows , widowers, needy, less privileged and has continued to maintain University and secondary schools Scholarships till date.

He is currently working towards the unity and progress of all Igbos within his constituency and beyond.

Eze Ifekandu has received numerous awards within Nigeria and abroad ,including the highest honour as an Ambassador and has been working for unity and peace in Nigeria and indeed the world.

He is a young business mogul and major Importer, born March 18, 1976,in Enugwu Ukwu town, Njikoka local government Area, Anambra State, he deals on tailoring Materials and bureau de Change ,with other chains of businesses in Nigeria and abroad.

He is a super philanthropist and this quality endeared him to many people particularly the youths of Nigeria.

He inspires confidence in people and is unconditionally loyal to his friends, family and would go to any extent to support friends no matter the position or class they belong to.

Eze Ifekandu is a very humble man but he abhors lies, greed, injustice and ingratitude, because these vices, he said ,are adverse to building trust and lasting relationships.

He strongly believes that such malevolence cannot build any nation. He equally believes that if one’s relationship with people is built on false foundation, it reduces the level of trust that people will repose in one thereby eliciting hindrances to future favours.

Eze (Amb) Onyeka Ifekandu , is an easy going leader to work with. He is also strong willed but applies diligence, wisdom and integrity in any decision he wishes to take all the time.

He is a team player who does a lot of consultations to enable him arrive at objective decisions. He strongly believes in the power of God and believes that God as a standard bearer through whose guide all must follow. Perhaps, that is why he is so courageous, fearless and firm on any issues he handles.

No wonder many Igbo people in Lagos State are clamouring for Eze Ifekandu to take over the leadership position as Ezendigbo in Lagos State.

Eze Ifekandu is married to Iyom Chief Mrs. Nkechi Ifekandu, they are blessed with four grown up Children , some in the University and he lives comfortably with his family in his two story building , located in an exclusive area of Green Field estate .

Eze Dr Ifekandu’s academic journey began at Holy Ghost Primary School and Government Secondary School, North Bank, Makurdi, Benue State.

He furthered his education at Lagos State Polytechnic, where he studied Banking and Finance. During his time on campus, he demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial skills, laying the foundation for his future business ventures.

Today, Eze Dr Ifekandu is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mac-Akudiufu Nigeria Limited, a leading company in tailoring materials distribution.

He also owns Park City BDC Limited, a foreign exchange business services company accredited by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Through his business endeavors, he has created opportunities for many Nigerian youths, providing them with valuable mentorship and tutelage via the popular Igbo apprenticeship system.
