In their twin Condolence visit that clearly exhibited brotherhood , which at the same time aligned with the popular Igbo wise saying of “Onye Ahala Nwanneya”, Ndi Anambra State Indigenes resident in lagos State and all Anambra Ndieze Ndigbo in Diaspora,in what have been described as ‘a unified but unplanned brotherly courtesy calls’, paid a condolence visit to one of their own Popular Leader, “Duru Ochiriozuo Na Uga” and Bobaselu of Ejigbo Land, Eze Alex Sunday Nwoye, who is the Eze Ndigbo in Ejigbo, Lagos State.
The twin visit which took place on June 12th, 2025, at the popular Aceland Royal Garden Hotel, a hospitality Center located at 4 ,Abiodun Alimi Street, NNPC Bus Stop, Ejigbo, Lagos State, brought back good old brotherly memories and reminiscence, as the Royal Highnesses ,other wise known as Eze Ndigbo in Diaspora,coincidentally met with the leadership of Ndi Anambra Indigenes in lagos State, in what was also seen as “brothers get together and all for one,one for all love”.
At the head of Ndieze Ndigbo from Anambra State delegation was their Chairman, Eze Ndigbo in Onigbongbo, Eze Tony Anosike ; Eze Peter Umeh; Eze Emmanuel Chukwuakalikamadu; Eze Augustine Ebisi; Igwe Ezenwa, Igwe Nkataukwu Umuomaku; Eze Augustine Ojukwu; Eze, Eze Justice Enujuba; Eze Jossy Egwuatu and Eze G.I. Okafor .
Speaking, Eze Anosike expressed their brotherly heartfelt sympathy to Bobaselu of Ejigbo Land, who incidentally is the Chairman of the Aceland Royal Garden Hotel.
Eze Anosike, who was a Coordinator of Ndi Anambra Indigenes Association before his ascension to the Ezeship throne , prayed for the repose of the soul of the dead, late MS Elizabeth Samuel Nwoye, whose burial took place from May 22nd to 25th, 2025, at Awarasi Uga Community in Aguata Local Government Area, Anambra State .
The Anambra State Ndieze Na’ Uzo Ije, as a necessary mark of traditional Igbo burial Cultural visit, presented group and some free will gifts to the bereaved.
Earlier, their host , Eze Nwoye and his wife, Ugo Eze, Lolo Jecinta Nwoye,had presented the traditional Igbo burial kolanuts to their visitors.
Immediately,the mantle fell on the dynamic Eze Ndigbo in Mushin, Eze Peter Umeh, popularly known as “Jaganza”, who took the kolanuts on the customary journey to dignitaries and others guests according to ranks, before it returned back to the Chief host, as tradition demands, then breaking and sharing commenced.
However, in a dignified show of respect, the President General and Founder of Ndi Anambra Indigenes in lagos State,Onowu, Prince Andy Moore Ezejioha , who came with some of his Association ‘s Executive Members on separate condolence visit to Bobaselu of Ejigbo Land, coincidentally meeting Ndieze Ndigbo Anambra State,presented some kolanuts to the Ezes,as a mark of honor and respect .
Addressing the Ezes, Ezejioha praised the Anambra Ezes for coming together under a brand name and urged them to remain together under one umbrella and to avoid factions and splinter groups.
Onowu Ezejioha,was accompanied to the visit by some Executive members of his Association, such as Pastor Emeka Okonkwo , Financial Secretary and MS Prestige Nneka Nwankwo , Social Director
Expressing their condolences, Prince Ezejioha, commended Eze Nwoye, who he said is one of the veritable Patrons of Ndi Anambra Indigenes in Lagos State.
He prayed God Almighty to grant Eze Nwoye and his entire family the fortitude to bear the lost.
Eze Nwoye in response, appreciated his guests for finding time to commiserate with him and his family, he wished them well.
In his popular but known family show of love , heart of gold and entertainment gestures, Eze Nwoye and his lovely wife, Ugo Eze, Lolo Jecinta Nwoye, treated their guests to sumptuous pepper soup meal, which some of his guests confirmed that such tasty meals, are one of the trademarks which Aceland Royal Garden Hotel is known for.
