GOLDEN JUBILEE ENCOMIUM : Writers, Book Sellers, Family, Friends , Celebrate Quintessential Author, De Angel At 50                                                                                                                                                              

By Emmanuel Edom                                                                                                                                  It was celebration galore as streams of  congratulatory wishes flow like torrents yesterday , March 6,2026,being Easter Monday, as Micheal Igele , popularly known as De Angel,Marked his 50 years birthday anniversary in grand style .

It was exclusive and unprecedented, as  Authors, Book Sellers, police officers, traders, residents, friends and well wishers trooped to Shefon Event Center, Arowojobe, Oshodi, Lagos State ,to felicitate with an amiable, kind hearted, calm,  easy going Author, who many refer to as an ” Icon who has  risen by Lifting Others”, on his memorable golden jubilee birthday celebration and book launch.

                                                                                                  The celebrant is no other person than, versatile Author , Chief Micheal  Igele ,a  philanthropist and man with a heart of Gold, whose passion for human development is immeasurable.                                                                                       

 De Angel , is reckoned amongst his professional colleagues as a silent hero, whose  professional efficiency, philanthropic strides and investment in human capital development, speak volumes amongst Book Writers.

                                                                                                                                                                        For the highly jovial De Angel ,and his super active author Wife, Mrs. Koko Igele, he received a thunderous ovation on the successful completion and launching of his 14 years old book , entitled ” Do It Well, In the Name Of God”

Besides being an Author, Michael Igele, who is also known for dedication to friendship and his family duties , helping people in need and creating an environmentally friendly book business clime ,  expressed his “joy of living a fulfilled life”. 

                                                                                                 

Igele, who could not hide his excitement over the successful completion of his 14 years covenanted book with his God  ,revealed how rising by lifting others gave him joy and how impacting other people positively had made him an achiever. 

                                                                                                  Many will spend their lifetime trying to figure out rules to living, however, De Angel , has not only figured them out, but has been living them for almost four decades now.

For this calm headed Author, “The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively. 

Oyewole, a guest at the bash ,noted that                             “ achievements generally could not necessarily be achievements in terms of material things, especially the way I look at De Angel achievement”.

“How many people have you impacted in life? How have you changed situations around you? These are areas where one needs to perform well before he is called an achiever”, Ade , another guest chipped in about De Angel’s life. 

                                                                                                   Indeed, before his new book, De Angels, had performed creditably well in discharging his family  duties, he has been able to give assistance to different people, especially indigent people. he has also been able to assist Authors,and jobless people in job placement 

He has  demonstrated the exact meaning of living by using his talent to serve the Nation and leaving a lasting impression ,while serving and mainly a positive impact on the causes that matter to the powerful.

 No wonder Many Guest at his party, testified to his deep rooted care and friendship, this they exemplified by their presence, gifts and resounding Praises that flowed like torrents .     

In return, De Angel, who was full of excitement, thrilled by old school music from the disc jockey ,DJ vibes,  aided by wife and Ushers, ensured that all guests were entertained without limit, as assorted foods and exotic drinks were not in short supplies, even some guests went home with gifts , food and drinks

                                                                                                                                Motivated by the unfailing Grace from God, his indepth trust, love for God and Godly affairs,  the unflinching  support from his lovely and adorable wife, Koko, Michael Igele said , he survived life uncertainty.                                                                                                    Though a strict disciplinarian when it comes to sticking to lawful duties and correcting erring family members,  but Like a lion, Michael Igele,have also assisted,  protected and fought for the interest and right of his associates and friends.                                                                                                                                      For his golden jubilee bash and the launching of his new book,he was thankful to God, his wife , children , well wishers , his former teacher and female class mate,who were present, to accord him the honor.”I feel fulfilled. I am so grateful to God for keeping me alive .  The most precious thing God has done for me is keeping me alive and healthy” . 

“I know he will continue to keep me .God has been so kind to me and things have been working so perfectly for me”
