Ndieze Group, Leaders, Laud Chief Solomon Aguene , Senator John Azuta Mbata ,Over Return Of peace , Unity, Successful Conduct Of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Election in Lagos

It is jubilation galore , as Igbo leaders , Stakeholders, residents , celebrates what they described as ” unification, return of peace and successful transition of power from former workaholic and adorable Ohanaeze Ndigbo President  , Chief Solomon Aguene ,to the  just Elected New Leader,Chief Leonard Okafor , also known as (Oba Ojoto).

Unable to withhold their admiration and respect for Aguene, some group of  traditional Igbo Leaders known as Eze Ndigbo and Onyendu , earlier today in Lagos , poured encomium on Chief Aguene ,for his untiring efforts to restore peace , bring unification amongst Ohanaeze Ndigbo and successfully worked with Ohanaeze General Assembly to inaugurate a credible high powered Electoral Committee on March 29, 2026, which they are happy ,has resulted into a free, fair consolidated Elections, that brought a smooth transition of power.

Speaking on behalf of the Ndieze Group, HRH,(SIR)  Ernest Anenechukwu Oli ,Eze Odogwu Chimereze, (Akaya di Ocha), Eze Ndigbo in Ifelodun LCDA, Lagos State ,  enjoined Ndigbo to go for thanks Giving in their various Places of Worship ,to pray for Chief Aguene’s success in his future endeavours, as well as to appreciate God for bringing Aguene , a leader he described as” Ekpere Chukwu Zara Ndigbo ” , to steer Ohanaeze Ndigbo affairs in Lagos.

While Congratulating Chief  Aguene for his high capacity, resourcefulness , high profile contacts , doggedness and resilience , Eze Ifelodun, on behalf of all progressive Ndieze’s and Ndindu, praised Aguene, for bringing back brotherly peace and solid amity, moreso , for single handedly bringing Oba Ojoto into Ohanaeze Ndigbo lime light , thereby helping him to achieve his age long ambition to lead Ndigbo in Lagos.

Making a categorical statement , Eze Oli,    noted that “No man has done what Aguene has achieved in recent time in Lagos”.

” Having successfully completed his tenure ,as well as the exceptional vision and insight  of working with the  Ohanaeze General Assemble ,to peacefully and Successfully inaugurate an Independent Electoral Committee on March 29, 2026,days  before the few aggrieved opposition acquired an enrollment court order on march 31, 2026, against Parties in their suit”.

 Exonerating Chief Aguene of any wrong doing or contempt , Eze Odogwu  Chimereze , stated that , ” the few dissenting voices or selfish Opposition ,should go to court against the Electoral committee, if they wish, as Chief Solomon Aguene, has nothing to do with that election conducted, after all  he and Ohanaeze Ndigbo General Assembly,legally  set up the body before the enrollment order”

Speaking also, another leader  Mr. Jude Onyeabor , praised Aguene for Obeying the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide  ,PG, Senator John Azuta Mbata and respectfully allowed the Electoral committee to be inaugurated on March 29, before the April 8, 2026, expiration of his legitimate Court Consent Judgement extended tenure , which he acknowledged , has led to a peaceful , free and fair election and victory for Oba Ojoto.

The Igbo leaders ,who also used the opportunity to pass a vote of Confidence on Senator Mbata, for his fatherly ,bold pronouncement on Aguene’s tenure legitimacy, subsequent  intervention and directives to Aguene ,the former President, on the conduct of polls, which has now resolved  the hitherto crisis in Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State .

The Leaders therefore , urged all Ndigbo in Lagos, to accord Oba Ojoto the needed supports, to ensure that he moves the Igbo Nation in Lagos to a higher level ,from the exalted position Aguene’s  regime took it to.
