OHANAEZE ELECTION : Eze Emmanuel Chukwuakalika Madu, Congratulates Chief Leonard Okafor, Dedicates His Victory To God

Eze Ndigbo in Oriade LCDA, Eze Chimereze Emmanuel Chukwuakalika Madu, rejoices with Chief Leonard Okafor, popularly known as Oba Ojoto , over his emergence as President , Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State Chapter.
Eze Chimereze ‘s congratulatory message is coming on the heels of Chief Leonard Okafor’s yesterday, April 6,2026, Land Slide Victory, over his closest rival ,Chief Emmanuel Uba , both from Ojoto community in Anambra State.
In his Royal goodwill message , Chimereze on behalf of his Obi Eze Council of Chiefs , Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Oriade , Igbo Speaking Community in Oriade, Igbo Community , Women Wing, Traders and Youth wing , Congratulated Oba Ojoto on his land slide victory in the just concluded Ohanaeze Ndigbo election .
Describing the election as very unique and Ordained by God as an expected harbinger of peace, he called on the winner to embrace and accommodate all oppositions and losers , so as to ensure total return of peace amongst Ndigbo in Lagos.
The election ,according to him, was very symbolic , as it ushered in once again , the long elusive unity and peace .
In the spirit of brotherhood, oneness and togetherness, he also enjoined Chief Uba to open his heart and accept hands of friendship and cooperation from Oba Ojoto for greater Igbo Nation.
Beckoning all parties to key to the spirit of Easter , he specifically called all Ndigbo to embrace and emulate The Lord Jesus Christ ,who suffered shame , disgrace and was chastised for our sins. .
Further Calling on all hands to be on deck , Eze Oriade appealed to his fellow Ndieze and all other stakeholders, such as Aka Ikenga, to rally round the new leadership and ensure total peace for a better Igbo Nation and peaceful harmonious Co- existence between Ndigbo and host community .
According to him , Election is a game , hence whosoever that have been offended, humiliated, intimidated, Cheated and aggrieved, should for the sake of Igbo Unity ,sacrifice , endure and forgive , to enable Ndigbo forge ahead for total unification.
Recall that Ohanaeze Ndigbo has hitherto been bedeviled with leadership tussle crisis for some years now , until recent peace initiatives and reconciliations between Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene led faction and Chief Sunday Ossai faction, which later broke into two, with Chief Linus Igbudu from same Enugu State laying claim to his own presidency .
It would also be recalled that Eze Chukwuakalika Madu of Oriade LCDA , has been in the fore front of the campaign for Igbo peaceful and harmonious co – habitation , especially with other Ethnic groups and the host Community.
