Unique Diamond Women Foundation Goes On New Year Outreach ,Supports  Rehabilitation Center Ozubulu With Cash Gift, Food Stuff Items. Watch Videos Below.

A humanitarian and non-governmental organization (NGO), Unique Diamond Women Foundation, has visited inmates of the Rehabilitation Centre For Disabled, Old And Tramps (RECDOT), at  Ozubulu  in Anambra State, as part of its early commencement of their 2026 activities, aimed  towards celebrating the New Year .

The  outreach programme  gave the Foundation time to felicitate with inmates of the centre and leave them with some joy, providing some succour during the 2026 New Year festive period , in spite of their predicament .

In collaboration with its affiliate , Odimma Umuada Igbo Prestigious Women Foundation  (OUIPWF ), they two Foundations  presented a Cheque of N100,000 and other gifts such as  : 1 bag of rice; 1 bag of Salt ; 6 tubers of yam ; 1 carton of Tomatoes, 2 bags of Semolina ; 10 Liters of Vegetable Oil; 3 cartons of Indomie ; 2 bags of tissues ; 2 cartons of detergents ; 2 cartons of Top Biscuits and 1 carton of Coaster  Biscuits .

 Founded by Chief Mrs. Obiora Violet Uche Onaedo, the Foundations since inception years back,  has continued to cater to the needs of the less privileged particularly physically Challenged. 

Receiving the Foundation, A Director at the  Center, Mrs. Okonobi Chioma,expressed the center’s gratefulness for the New year visit, support and gifts.

Also Speaking on behalf of the Management , a subordinate Administrator, Mrs. Angela llika, appreciated the Women group and prayed that God will continue to bless and protect them.

It was indeed prayer galore ,as the excited and visibly grateful inmates , with one voice ,appreciated and prayed for the Foundation.

In a further appreciation message sent to the Founder by the Management, it read : ” The RECDOT Family humbly use this medium to appreciate you and your foundation for your support in prayers, kind and cash”.

 “The youngsters and Management pray that the Good Shepherd will bless your endeavors and sustain you in good health and wealth. We love you and our prayers are with you and yours”.

Earlier, the Founder and President General of the two Foundations , Chief Mrs. Obiora, had in her short speech explained their mission to the center, which she noted was to show their love and support to the inmates.

Mrs. Obiora , fondly called Onaedo, who was  sandwiched by two Executive members of the Foundations ,        praised the efforts of the Centers  Management in caring for the inmates .

She further prayed for God’s early  intervention on the different and various cases cum situation of the inmates , to enable them have quick recovery and return to their various homes.

News Planet International recalls that the Foundation’s mission is rooted in compassion and transformation .

 In the light of the above, the Foundations says it remains committed to restoring dignity, rebuilding of lives and giving second chance to individuals often forgotten or neglected by society.

Remarkably, no fewer than 1000 women, Children and less privileged , were impacted through the Foundation’s  programme in Lagos State last year ,2025.
