Unique Diamond Women Foundation Kick Start 2026 With Empowerment Of Physically Challenged Spouse In Anambra State. Watch Videos Below.

It was like a 2026 fresh breath of life for the physically Challenged Spouse, Mr. Henry Ikegwuonu and wife, Blessing, from Akabedoji kindred, Uruagu Village, Nnewi North Local Government Area, Anambra State.
News Planet International reports that a not-for-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Unique Diamond Women Foundation, along side its affiliate, Odimma Umuada Igbo Prestigious Women Foundation (OUIPWF), yesterday, January 1,2026, paid the Couple a surprise and an unscheduled support visit.
For the highly elated but physically impaired Mr. Ikegwuonu, the women group visit and empowerment, was like answers to his family’s Crossover Night prayers.
Unique Women Foundation stated that it was in continuation of its mission to spread love and empower women, Orphans, Physically Challenged and less privileged , that it kick started their 2026 programe, with a cash donation of N50, 000 and some food stuff items to the physically Challenged Couple at their Nnewi residence .
The groups Founder, Chief Mrs. Obiora Violet Uche Onaedo, who led some of the delegated Executive Members to the visit, had at Mr. Ikegwuonu’s residence, encouraged and prayed for the Couple , before presenting the N50,000 Cheque, with some food stuff items .
Other members of the Foundation present, such as Mrs Bright Adaeze Anosike and Mrs. Uchenna Ofunwa, also prayed for them.
Responding , the excited Couple, appreciated the Foundation gestures and Prayed God to grant them safety , progress, more blessings and journey mercy .
It would be recalled that Mr. Ikegwuonu, has been physically and speech impaired for over 38 years , since 1988.
He had an accidental situation and health challenge that was said to have started in hospital, during his birth in Zaria , Kaduna State.
His acute nerve situation that resulted during birth, was said to have affected his legs, hands , limbs,speech and confirmed him permanently to a life on wheel Chair.
To aggravate his situation, his parents died 37 years ago, which led to his been kept at RECDOT Rehabilitation Centre, Uzubulu , Anambra State.
However, with assistance from Churches and kind hearted citizens, a house was built for him.
Indeed, at Mr. Ikegwonu’s prompting and request , he got married to his wife, Blessing , who also is physically Challenged and uses Clutches.
