A not-for-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Adorable Foundation International (AFI), on Saturday , December 20, 2025,at Shasha in Lagos State ,hosted no fewer than 2000 Women, Children and Men from across the state, in a manner that left everyone smiling home with quality gift items to celebrate Christmas ,even as many physically Challenged among them, were gifted cash each ,while a certificate of excellence were issued to some dedicated Members and Volunteers .

The event which was well attended by women and guests from within and outside Lagos State ,was quite spectacular in every department of it, even as mammoth but overwhelming Crowd besieged the Venue located at 7, Olaseinde Crescent ,Oguntade ,Shasha ,Egbeda, Lagos State .

Apart from the quality gift items which included Clothes( Wrapper), Rice, Beans Spaghetti, Garri, sugar , tissue, fan, gas cooker, , tomatoes, Salt and yams,etc, everyone was feted with good meal, bottled water and soft drinks even as music played all the way.

Beneficiaries from various ethnic backgrounds, such as Hausa, Yoruba, Edo, Delta , Igbo and Effik , came from different local government Areas , including Badagry.

The event started early in the morning with Medical Outreach , where Experts from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Opticians and opthalmologist , provided medical examinations , treatment and drug prescriptions to participants.

According to the Founder, Prophetess , Princess Dr. Ada Okeke Amam, Adorable Foundation International , was established primarily to provide resources for the empowerment and development of women, Widows, Orphans, children and less privileged in the society.

With a vision to build an environment where every woman is nourished, educated and protected, AFI is on a mission to empower every women with the resources needed for growth and development, including Widows and Orphans .

Speaking to News Planet International on the sideline of the event held at his Choppers House , Agunechemba – Onyendu, Obi Aniocha Palace, Venue Provider , who is from Delta State, Dr. Vincent Iwobi, described the event as a massive project meant to promote excellence in the Society.

“Though, this is the first time I am attending this Foundation’s event, yet I am quite surprised with what I have seen today. It is awesome. Moreso, the organisers have different gifts for all . I am sure that when some NGOs sees this commendations to AFI,for being excellent, it will drive them to do same.

“The effort of Adorable Foundation International ,is quite commendable and I will encourage other indigenous NGO, who have capacity to do same”, Dr. Iwobi said.

Dr. Iwobi pointed out that “it is rare, to have this kind of gestures from an NGO, So it behoves on us to commend and encourage them for a better tomorrow”.

A beneficiary , Mrs. Isioma who attended the occasion ,remarked that she had always identified with Adorable Foundation annual events , noting that it has always being amazing.

“I am not a member but more of a friend of one of the convener’s family, I am highly impressed with the event of this year because I noticed that every year that things have continued to get better. I have attended for four years now,” she said.

In her words, “there is a lot that has gone into preparation for this event. This year’s event is quite awesome but I think with more funds, more beneficiaries would benefit ,because apart from hundreds of women, Children, Men being gifted and feted today, many others who do not have such opportunity are standing out there in the world excluded.

It was remarkable that the organisers may have also considered the possibility of stampede in the arena ,if everybody passing was allowed to enter, hence the issuance of cards.

A guest at the occasion, noted that ,“Today’s event is quite spectacular because when I watched one of the women holding her gifts, one could see her face beaming with radiance. She was full of joy. Perhaps her children might not have gotten any clothes or food for the Christmas, but with these gifts from Adorable Foundation, she is quite excited. She would never forget it in a hurry.”

Iwobi commended Princess Amam and her Foundation for embarking on “this selfless mission every year to put smile on the faces of people with her hard earned money .”

According to Ada Owerre, “the only reason I am at this event is because I am a strong supporter and lover of Adorable Foundation. This is a wonderful thing Princess Ada is doing. I have no reason not to support her. I will always support any person doing anything that positively impacts on citizens. I pray that God will raise more people to impact the lives of our people and put smiles on their faces.

One of the interesting aspects of the event was the fact that the beneficiaries cut across all the three major ethnic groups of Nigeria and beyond.

Speaking with News Planet International, a partially sighted Yoruba beneficiary , Elder Isaiah Tijani Adenekun, who graciously received assorted gifts from the Founder,prayed and paid glowing tribute to the management of the Foundation.

Princess Amam , had explained that AFI’s achievement was a collective one made possible by the spirit of understanding among Members and Partners. She expressed appreciation to the Partners and Donors ,for recognizing such effort on their part.

When asked to put a cost on what his organisation spent to put the event together, Prince Amam, who was full of joy for the huge attendance, excitement of the beneficiaries and the conviviality that pervaded the atmosphere throughout period of the event, said “there is no prize that could put a smile on peoples’s faces. There is no prize in knowing that a family is happy being taken care of, which is the primary objective of Adorable Foundation International. However, one guest noted that AFI may have spent well over N50 million .

While appreciating all the Members,service providers for performing excellently well, Princess Amam who is a top player in the Real Estate sector of the economy and also, runs a huge buying and Selling commercial business in Abuja, said thus : “one of the main reasons this year’s event has been a success is because of God’s Intervention. God is the engine that keeps everything running like well-oiled machine. Without Divine Presence, the Foundation will not get to the stage it is right now. To God be the glory for making AFI an amazing partner to touch lives , ” She concluded.

Speaking on events lined up for 2026, Princess Amam, who enjoined Parents to release their Children for AFI – Tour recreational Outreach , also enumerated the importance of AFI’s campaign against drug Abuse , otherwise known as as ASACADA Programme, which she said is coming up in Abuja by June ,2026.

In the same vein, Some of AFI member was full of appreciation to God for the success of the event. According to them, “it could not have happened if God did not make it possible.

The Adorable Foundation’s goal is to touch as many lives as we can . We are so happy every thing turned out successful,” they remarked.
