Encomium For ‘Amuruonyenaego’, Eze ,Dr.Chukwudi Boniface Okparaku, Philanthropist With Heart Of Gold, Impacting His Wealth On The Poor, Needy In Imo – Lagos Communities

 It is not every Community that is privileged to have  a  kind hearted, wealthy young Entrepreneur , whose priority in life, is helping the poor, Needy and less privileged members of his community and society at large, instead of suppressing and oppressing them,as many ‘money miss road’ are apt to do.

This is the summary history of Eze Chukwudi Boniface Okparaku, ‘Eze Chukwu Kwadoro Ndigbo’ in Lagos State, popularly known as ‘Amuruonyenaego in Ihetenansa and Ihiteowerre.

Infact,It is seasonal and not always an everyday affairs, when a self made business mogul and employer of labour ,extends his Company’s Cooperate Social Responsibility to individuals, kings, Local Government Areas, State and the every community he resides.

This generosity and special act of giving cheerfully, without restraint, mirrors  the life and person of a noble patriotic Citizen, Eze Chukwudi Boniface Okparaku , who is the sagacious Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, CEO of many trending international companies in Nigeria and Kigali in Rwanda, such as Bonchudi Group of Companies Ltd.

High Chief Amuruonyenaego , as his titled name literally implies, means , ” Nobody is born with Money or  No one came into the world with money”. A name that places Humanity above money.

Little wonder this his dispossession and philosophy in life,made him to regard and appreciate Humanity than worshipping money.

Indeed this philosophy of life made him to be very  Popularly known in Ihitenansa and  Ihiteowerre communities ,Orsu local government Area of Imo state , due to his philanthropic , developmental strides and milestones.

As a man with golden heart and having steady milk of kindness flowing in his heart, Eze Chukwudi Boniface Okparaku, hates seeing people in sorrow but loves and derives joy in  helping the needy and Poor Citizens.

Indeed ,he does not shrink or shy away from the problems of his Community, as residents even in Lagos State, testify and acknowledge him for always being at the fore front of every program or project that will uplift his immediate community and environment.

This can be verified through  his assistance and  synergy with the leaders of the host community in Abaranje and Okerube, in Ikotun Igando LCDA, where he is the His Highness, Eze Ndigbo.

Other sources of confirmation are from  the Nigeria Secret Police, the Directorate of State Security, DSS , which we learnt , he has been designated as a VIP.

Again Ikotun Police Division, Area ‘M’ , where through infrastructural development,he demonstrated his passion for helping the Police Institution and other Security Agencies,  by redesigning and re- equipping  the stations entrance gate on behalf of the Igbo Community Abaranje/ Okerube .

Besides the above said, It was Eze Chukwudi Boniface Okparaku, who at the height of insurgency in Orlu/Orsu local governments, between 2020-2021 till date , risked his life ,notwithstanding threats from IPOB/ ESN and other militias operating and making life unbearable for residents, he organized his exclusive and select Association called ” Odinma Orsu Initiative, who directly partnered with Imo State government and Security Agencies, contributed and spent over one billion naira, that assisted in no small measures in quelling and down grading the operations and activities of the armed groups in the areas.

 It is on the account of this his milk of human kindness, spirit of love and spontaneous zealous desires to render help, that he has gifted some youths in Imo State and Lagos state , built and completed some abandoned projects for some people, started some business enterprises for others and paid hospital bills and attended to other urgent medical attentions.

Apart from the empowerment of citizens, another of his hobby is to scout and develop some hidden raw talents, discover future entrepreneurs and keep unemployed youths busy and far away from crimes .

High Chief Amuruonyenaego, has sponsored competitions in sports,  engineered and encouraged the formation of different Organizations , to keep the restive youths busy and help move their idle heart away from crimes and criminalities.

As an astute business mogul with a conglomerate of companies in different sectors of the economy,he is said to have paid his dues to mankind.

For instance, he is one of most highly trusted active Operator ,who has been on the top echelon of the Clearing and Forwarding business in Nigeria for over 28 years, while his other  companies,  like : Cabelous Health Care Products  ;  Soft Wealth Tissue Papers and Servet and  Varitas Bar Soap amongst others ,have received international recognition as a colossus towering above its competitors.

As a determined and resilient  Entrepreneur , who expanded his business empire from Clearing and Forwarding to manufacturing sector, he has expanded his factory base to Lagos State, Asaba, Delta State and now Kigali, Rwanda.

No wonder it is rumoured that he is strongly connected to the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma and some top hierarchy Politicians in the Nigerian Presidency.

 Affirmed man of honour ,who likes extending love, respect, appreciation and honor to whom honour is due, Eze Chukwudi Boniface Okparaku , has elected himself to sponsor some community projects wherever he resides.

These achievements may not have been possible without his amiable, calm headed lovely wife, Ugoeze ,Lolo, Osodieme Chizoba Christianna Okparaku’s support, counseling and prayers ,as well as the continuous fervent intercession by his Six lovely Children.

A peep into the working of the mind,  style and heart of the renowned Philanthropist, shows that he frequently thinks on how to help the needy in the society. 

He is a formidable planner, soft spoken, easy going young man ,who always avoid issues and controversies . Little wonder  many attest to the fact that every event sponsored or organized by Amuruonyenaego, ends up an epic fiesta.

One of the beneficiaries of his kind hearted gestures, who pleaded anonymity,has this to say : “I thank God Almighty for this show of love by Eze Boniface Okparaku,who has been Sponsoring me “.

Praising Eze Okparaku’s public spirited work, a community leader known as Chief Gilbert Okolieze , said also that ,” Chief Amuruonyenaego, is an illustrious Ihitenansa and Igbo son of our time. A man of few words but full of actions. A generous man,who loves humanity and mankind. A helper and friend of the youth.He is always happy to see mankind happy, infact,if you encounter him, you will not be in a hurry to leave, if you go to his house and you are unhappy, you must become happy before you depart.A jolly good fellow “.

According to yet another Community leader, Mr Sylvester Sunday , he confirmed that considering  Eze Okparaku’s Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, in Orsu LGA communities, he has done well”  

He Said : “He has single handedly provided for some of our community needy people and he is always participating  in communal duties, even supported our community with finance , he assists the Church by supporting the work of God at home and Lagos state”, Mr. Sunday noted.

This his Religious Obligations to the Catholic Church in Lagos has since been confirmed by members of the Catholic Community and  another eminent and notable Eze Ndigbo of Ejigbo, Eze Alex Sunday Nwoye, who said thus, “He is a leader in the Catholic Church we once fellowshipped together ”.

His contributions to the Catholic Church both in Imo State and Lagos State, gained him  recognitions and awards by two Bishops.

Bishop of Lagos who in appreciation of his work as Coordinator at Isolo Dinary , gave him one of the Highest Catholic Church Awards. While the Orlu Bishop honored him as a Father of the Faith.

Eze Okparaku’s business success stories in Nigeria, especially in Lagos, Delta State, Kigali , is anchored on the active oversight and overseer support by his trained and  vibrant, eagle eyed staff, watching over and supervising  his investments.

Indeed, it was Lucky Dube, the late popular South African Music maestro,  who once wrote and sang a song, “that blessed is the hand that giveth, than the hand that taketh”

This song which built its lyrics and root from the Holy Bible , in book of Act of the Apostles ,chapter 20, Verse 35, is widely known as an axiomatic fact when you talk of Eze Okparaku ‘s rising profiles in riches and wealth.

Talking about giving, it presupposes that the giver must have before giving, possibly rich.Thus, residents confirm that Eze Okparaku, is super rich.

Though the Bible conspicuously in the book of Matthew Chapter 19 verse 24, did fore-warn that ” it is easier for the camel’s head to enter the eye of the Needle than the rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

However, the story of this rich young Igbo international Business Mogul, Eze Chukwudi Boniface Okparaku, appears to make an exception to the Biblical assertion.

Infact, his friends and Associates , who spoke on the grounds of anonymity ,confirmed that Eze Chukwudi Boniface Okparaku ,is an accomplished and Acknowledged Giver,  lover of the poor and wretched of the society , who despite commiting millions in uplifting the less privileged and down trodden in the society,has not stopped giving.

Undoubtedly ,this amiable, humble and unassuming rich Man’s generosity, has garnered to him,several  exclusive recognitions and prominent Igbo titles already bestowed .

This is even as some members of his community  whispered to our Correspondent,that very soon, their  Community in  Imo State, planned bestowing on Eze Boniface Okparaku ,another  exalted Chieftaincy title .

His rare achievements as a public spirited and humanitarian personality,led to his getting his earlier titles ,as he is fondly called by his peers, which was said to have been  Propelled by his love for the poor and Indigent People in the society.

This is simply  because Eze Okparaku, the calm headed Philanthropist, has many other empowerment programs  for the poorest of the poor.

 It is also on record that his unlimited philanthropic gestures and empowerment , goes beyond his community in Imo state, as other villages , communities ,is said to have also benefitted from his large heart.

As an acknowledged bridge builder and a philanthropist without borders,which many said , have endeared him to Politicians in other parts of Africa, who considering Eze Okparaku’s large heart, kindness, spirit of giving,generosity,milk of human kindness and selfless corporate social responsibility  programs, decided to confer on him other titles ,ever before he commenced full scale sponsorship of his own community.

No wonder many non Igbo people, especially Yoruba, Hausa , Rwanda  and other ethnic groups, regards Eze Okparaku ,as a ” De – tribalized Man of the people ” .

It will shock Purveyors of tribalism and ethnic bigots  to know that some of  Eze Okparaku’s friends are not  Igbos .

One report quotes Eze Chukwudi Boniface Okparaku ,as having said thus : “I love harmonious co-existence with other people from other tribes.I love people and peace.

This his rare attribute as genuine Bridge Builder ,clearly indicated why numerous Igbo Leaders, other Ezes, king Makers, many Igbo Captains of Industries, Igbo Sons , Daughters ,Politicians from Igbo extraction ,even residents and leaders of Yoruba host community, are already canvassing for his nomination or election as the most qualified Successor to late Eze Hyacinth Nwabueze , Omereoha Mkpume 11, as the Next Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State.

At the recently held last Ofala  on October 11,2025, in honor of the late  Eze Ohazulike,  the Igbo Man of integrity ,Eze Okparaku, who in Pre 2023 General Election stood his ground and rejected  huge sum of money sent by a political party ( Names Withheld) , meant to buy him over, he told News Hunters that ” Ndigbo needs a credible leader,who can not be easily swayed by money to  sell his people and Conscience “. He also opined that the Eze Ndigbo institution should be redesigned for effectiveness and credibility .

Eze Okparaku, who received Commendations after  working for the World Bank and Clearing for the African Development Bank , canvassed for Obi Ndigbo or  a place of the talking drum in Lagos State , while calling for a United Ndigbo front with one voice in Lagos and Nigeria.

He however insisted that the best criteria for choosing Eze Ohazulike’s successor ,would be based on the candidates level of integrity , his perfect knowledge of Igbo Customs and tradition ,as well as choosing a contented , genuinely self made man with visible crime free means of living, who has capacity to speak truth to power.These he suggested would help to restore lost Igbo dignity and respect from other tribes.
