Showers Of Praises ,As Eze Nicholas Njoku Fetes Well-wishers, Receives Peace Ambassador Honours From United Nations Affiliate ,IAWPA

Indeed, torrents of praises and prayers rained heavily at Ejigbo LCDA, Lagos state yesterday, as an Adorable , Glamorous Igbo Leader and Renowned Philanthropist,Eze (Dr. ) Nicholas Njoku, in a crowd pulling event,was bestowed with a unique Ambassadorial  honor by a United Nations, UN,  Affiliate,the ‘International Association Of World, Peace Advocates’, IAWPA .

At the exclusive ceremony,Eze (Dr.) Njoku was decorated and handed over with amongst other things,a diplomatic International passport, Diplomatic identity card and a diplomatic vehicle plate number .

The Igbo leader, who has been in the forefront of empowerment of some Ejigbo LCDA residents, especially the youths and less privileged, also received other gifts and awards from some other Associate Organizations working with IAWPA.

The event held at his palatial palace turned out to be a meeting and a sort of roll call of who is who in the society, as the ‘cream de la cream’ of the Igbo leaders in Lagos state,trooped in their numbers to celebrate one of their own.

Amongst notable Igbo Diaspora Ezes and dignitaries at the occasion were, Ladipo International Market Leader and Eze Ndigbo in Mushin,Ijoba,Eze Monday Lawrence , Eze Uche Dimgba of Ikeja, Popularly known as Okpotemba, Eze Gburugburu, Ohazurumee, Eze Peter Ifeanyi Asonye, Eze Ndigbo in Ibeju – Lekki, Eze Odumodu of Amuwo Odofin, Eze Ikem Agbasi of Isolo, Eze Lawrence Eze of Alimosho, Eze Valentine of Ajeromi, Eze Egwuatu of Surulere, Eze Sylvanius and Eze Iroegbu of Ikorodu.

Others were a Traditional King from Anambra State, Igwe Livinus Ezenwa, the President – General of the Igbo Speaking Community, Chief Sunday Udeh , Chief Martins Nwodika, Chief Sunny Akpoyibo, Chief Sunday Ossia and a host of others.

Speaking at the event, the Leader of IAWPA delegation, Bishop (Dr.) Prince Nkemakolum, who was accompanied to the occasion by his wife, Princess Nkemakolum; Ambassador Emmanuel Ebuk; Ambassador Christian Utakah; Ambassador Harrison and others, took time out to x-ray and commend the good qualities and virtues of Eze Njoku, which he said  endeared him to his Organization and earned him the Ambassadorial honor.

Taking his Quotation from the Holy Bible  books of Jeremiah 1 v 5, Psalm 62 v 11,12, Hebrews 5 v 4, Bishop Nkemakolum said: ” We are here to honor a man who God has honored, a man among men.A man that loves the truth, who reaches out to people and is putting smiles on people’s faces”. 

Further Explaining the significance of the International Diplomatic Passport, Diplomatic identity card and the diplomatic vehicle plate number , Bishop Nkemakolum urged those that knows Eze Njoku ,to henceforth address him as His Excellency, Ambassador, Eze Nicholas Njoku.

Expressing his appreciation for the honor bestowed on him, Ambassador Eze Nicholas Njoku, who received the awards with his wife and Children by his side,thanked God Almighty, appreciated the IAWPA Organization and his guests.

 Ambassador Njoku, who besides being an International Business Man, is also the Chief Executive Officer,CEO, of promising Hotel in Lagos,  pledged to increase the tempo of his humanitarian efforts, as the awards, he said, would act as a tonic gingering him to give more to the society.

Earlier amidst cheers, praises and prayers, Bishop Nkemakolum had enjoined all the Ezes and dignitaries to touch, feel and appreciate the sealed awards and documents before it was presented to the Beneficiary.

In his own contribution, Ambassador Etuk, encouraged all to start in their own small ways to key into the United Nations agenda on poverty alleviation, provision and strengthening partnership in business .

This was re- echoed by Eze Uche Dimgba, who called for peace amongst the Ezes and pledged the support of his Eze group to Ambassador Njoku, to further his vision for peace and humanitarianism to the society.

The event which officially started at  about 2 pm on July 7,2024, ended by 9.30 pm, with funfair, as guests had much to eat , drink and dance.
