For the family of late Pa Anthony Onuchukwu Chukwuedozie ,it was a moment of total feeling of nostalgia ,as they glorified God during the Thanksgiving service following the successful burial of their father.

 It was a joyous moment for the late Soldier’s immediate family led by his Son, Rotarian Calistus Tochukwu Chukwuedozie , his wife, Cousins , Nephew  and Niece, as they sang and  danced to present their gift at the podium of the Catholic Church of Transfiguration , VGC, Lagos State.

 At the grand reception in the palatial residence of Mr. Calistus ,the atmosphere was  saturated with praises , eulogy, even as encomium poured like torrents in adoration of the life and times of Pa Anthony .

 Tributes poured from dignitaries and  guests ,such as Honourable Nnamdi Ifebi, Onwa of Idemili North and South, who said that he has been a blossom friend of Calistus for over 25 years. He praised the life and time of Late Pa Anthony Onuchukwu .

Onwa, who described the late Legend as a good and truthful man, who left a great legacies, noted that late Pa Anthony gave him blessings three days before his death.

Speaking philosophically, Onwa urged citizens to understand that “we are all pilgrims on earth.He advised all to be selfless in their dealings with fellow human beings” .

Onwa further  expressed his appreciation to Anambra State Governor , on his relentless efforts on safety and security.

For Akuchinyere  Chukwudi, her late fathers Twin brother , Pa Anthony, was a peaceful gentleman and a disciplinarian  .

In his own tribute, the Chairman of Yamaha Sub – Saharan Africa, Chief Edwin Eze, the  Ogidigha of Oraifite, described Pa Anthony Onuchukwu Chukwuedozie as a man whose influence extended far beyond his immediate family.

 He praised the late patriarch for positively shaping generations through his character, discipline and wisdom.

Commiserating with  Chukwuedozie family, he emphasized that the remarkable achievements and values seen in his children stand as living proof of a life well lived.

As prayers were offered and stories shared, the memorial thanksgiving became more than a remembrance. It evolved into a celebration of legacy, community impact and the quiet power of a man who lived with honour.

 Speaking , Calistus,  the Automobile International Businessman, who has over 250 staff strength in his conglomerate, described his late father as a legend, a man of integrity .A great  man who served his Nation meritoriously.

According to the Mbosi, Ihiala born Business man, his father’s life journey was defined by principle, discipline and service to humanity.

He recounted how his late father survived the era of killing of twins to become an icon in his community and delved into teaching and Agriculture , which assisted in educating his seven children to university level and feeding his community .  

Calistus who read Economics but ended as an Auto mobile Business magnet, urged youths in his Community to embrace peace.

He therefore called on the rich  and wealthy members of the society to contribute their quota in creating employment for the youths .

On security situation in Anambra State during the burial of his late father, Calistus, who is the past President of Rotary Club Victoria Island East,  commended the efforts of the Chairman of Air Peace , Chief Allen Onyema , who he credited for the peace and tranquility that pervaded his Community during the period.

The CEO of MICCALLY AUTOS, also appreciated the contributions of the Inspector General of Police ,the Anambra State Commissioner of Police  and other security Agencies in the state.

Other notable guests at the occasion , were, Past Assistant Governor , Rotary International, Chief Chinedu Ugo, Chief  Iko and His Royal Majesty, Igwe Sir Ike Nnaba, Igwe Egede Igwe of  Odorowesian kingdom, Okigwe.
