IGBO LEADERSHIP : Chairman ,Council OF Ndieze Ndigbo Lagos State, Eze Chris Offia, Debunks Publication Linking Him With Ambition For Eze Ndigbo Of Lagos Throne. See Video Below.

The Chairman ,Council of Ndieze Ndigbo Lagos State,Eze ,Sir Christopher Offia ,( KSM), has denies ever nursing a secret or open ambition of becoming the next Eze Ndigbo of Lagos state.

Refuting the news  publication linking him with such ambition of jostling to replace the late  Patriarch , Eze Hyacinth Nwabueze Ohazulike , Eze Offia, who is the Eze Ndigbo in Ibeju  Lekki area, denied ever granting such interview or discussion with the Online Newspaper ( Names Withheld ).

He said : ” I never discussed or granted any such interview to any Newspaper .It is very annoying , unethical and a very provocative Speculation by the Reporter” .

Further distancing himself from the said throne succession ambition, Eze Offia, who is the Chairman of Ever Best  Properties /Real Estate Ltd and Ever Best Cosmetics Ltd , reiterated that ,”he has no quest and is not jostling for the vacant Eze Ndigbo of Lagos state office”.

However, he assured whosoever that eventually emerges as Successor at the proper and  right time ,of his  absolute ,maximum support and solidarity.

Eze Offia , who holds his Community’s  sacred Title of “Okosisi” and is the Traditional Prime Minister (ONOWU ) of  Egede Ancient Kingdom, Udi Local Government Area,  Enugu State, also stated that he was alarmed and grieved about the report and speculation that was pushed out in the public space, just two days after the last Ofala of Eze Ohazulike in lagos, being Saturday, October 11, 2025.

He therefore advised those speculating or nursing ambition of succeeding the late Eze Ndigbo of Lagos, to align themselves with the true tenets of Igbo customs, and to exercise patience until the final burial rites are concluded in his home town in Anambra State.

In his words, ” let everyone exercise restraints and accord respect to the family of the late Eze Omereoha Mkpume 11 . They should  allow the dead legend to benefit from all the required traditional rites, before the issue of succession will take the front burner”

Earlier last Saturday , at the Ofala festival , Eze Offia in an interview with News Planet International , had described the late Eze Ohazulike, as” a Man of many parts, an epitome of Igbo tradition, a pacesetter , standard bearer and an icon who gave all the Ezes, the wings to fly”.

 It would be recalled that the said Online Newspaper publication had listed five  candidates it said are jostling for the said throne as :Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu, Eze Lawrence Nnamdi Eze, Eze Uche Dimgba, Eze  Frederick Nwajagu and Eze Chris Offia.

 According to the said Publication,Other contending Candidates are : Eze Chika Nwokedi, Eze Alex Nwoye, Eze Agbowodikeizu Nwalozie, Eze Prosper Chukwuka, Eze Emmanuel Chukwuakalikamadu, Eze Emmanuel Ojukwu and Eze Sunday Ojukwu
