Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene Risks Being Ostracized From All Igbo Affairs, As Onowu Everest Ozonweke Takes Him To Cleaners, Exposes His Numerous Lies

Facts have emerged over trending protests by Igbo Leaders and Stakeholders ,who are insisting that the embattled former President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State Chapter, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, also known as ‘Udochia ‘, should be Ostracized.

News Planet International reports that Chief Aguene has attracted the wrath of many Igbo Leaders and Stakeholders, following his recent outbursts and statements published in a blog , where he stated that “the visit and meeting between Chief, Engineer Emmanuel Iwuanyawu and the Oba of Lagos,Oba Rilwan Akiolu, will not yield any result”.

It was learnt that many Igbo stakeholders regarded Aguene’s said careless attack in his Publication,as a direct disrespect on the person and office of reverred foremost Igbo Leader and President General of the Pan Igbo Socio-Cultural Organization known as Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with our Correspondent, the Chief Executive Officer, Ozo Global Logistics Ltd and Former Secretary General of Lagos State Chapter of Ohanaeze Ndigbo,Chief Everest Ozonweke, Slammed Chief Aguene over his alleged continuous unguided,insensitive statements and insults on Credible and Notable Igbo Leaders, including Chief Engineer Emmanuel Iwuanyawu, the President General, PG, Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide.

Ozonweke, who is a Chieftain of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and Current Personal Assistant to the PG,as well as, Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide Co-ordinator, South West Zone, described Solomon Aguene’s statements, as “tissues of Lies and rantings of a drowning Man”.

He  hinted that Aguene would be declared a ‘Personae Non Grater ‘and barred from all Igbo events and programs,as the next step to checkmating his excesses.

Branding Chief Aguene as an “Enemy Number One of Ndigbo in Lagos state”, Onowu Ozonweke rhetorically questioned how a person of Solomon Ogbonna Aguene standing, can be regarded as an Igbo leader, when his stock in trade, is creating confusion and causing crisis everywhere ,while at the same time, he is destroying legacies of past genuine Igbo Leaders and stakeholders.

He said , ” for discrediting Chief Iwuanyawu’s visit, despite such a sacrifice by the Igbos number one citizen, Solomon Aguene is an enemy of Ndigbo and not a leader.How can anyone regard such person like Solomon Aguene as an Igbo leader?, a man who is so insensitive to the fact that Igbos were thrown into grief as their hard earned resources,multiple billions naira worth of Igbo people’s property were destroyed within a twinkle of an eye and our number one citizen, Chief Iwuanyawu, called and commiserated with them,and took extra steps by coming to have on the spot assessment of the damages”

Educating Chief Aguene on the importance of the PGs visit, Ozonweke, who is also the Onowu Ndigbo in Badagry said thus : ” Chief Iwuanyawu’s visit was a significant mark of a reasonable leader, it was to reassure and help rekindle the victims hope in Igbo Nation ,as well as to help heal the wounds of the last general elections in 2023, when nerves were frayed ,propped up on ethnic lines , hence the need for a healing process, closing of ranks and to address issues concerning Igbos in Lagos state.And that was why he held private meeting with the Oba and addressed the media.Intrestingly,  Igbos trooped out in their numbers to welcome him and appreciated him”.

Depicting Chief Aguene as a nuisance and a man with a Shallow mind, Onowu Ozonweke, Chastised his former embattled President , for attempting to create unexisting enemity between Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide , Ndigbo Lagos and  Aka Ikenga groups.

“Solomon Aguene should be tutored that there is no leadership conflict or Supremacy contest between Ndigbo Lagos and Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide, as Ndigbo Lagos is a worthy affiliate of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.Solomon  tried in vain to create enemity between these Igbo groups ,by casting aspersions on the present leadership of Ndigbo Lagos, but he is unaware or chooses to forget that their present President, General Ebel Obi Umuanyi, who had served the Nigerian Army in different phases and have contributed immensely to the growth of the country,has always worked in various Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide Committees, including being Chairman, South East Security Committee until resently. Many of their members are actively playing special roles for Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide “, Ozonweke revealed.

On alleged Aguene’s insults on the person of Ambassador Okay Emuchey, Ozonweke lambasted Aguene and accused him of treachery .

He said,”Okay Emuchey was former Ambassador to South Africa, who has paid his dues in public and private capacities.As the Secretary General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide,  he refused to play to Aguene’s antics, and that is why Solomon has been trying in vain to discredit him”.

Onowu threw challenge to Aguene and asked,”Who is the Igbo leader, Solomon Aguene has not insulted?, we still have in our archive, where few months ago, when Aguene was insulting former Minister and PG, Chief Nnia Nwodo”.

” Solomon Aguene should be declared Personae Non Grater on Igbo Affairs in Lagos and Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide .Igbos can not sit back and watch him denigrate our national leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide or any of our Elders, leaders, who have suffered much for the Igbo Nation, whereas he (Aguene) has not contributed anything positive for the Igbo Nation “, he noted.

Dismissing Aguene’s false information that his appointment letter as the Coordinator, Ohanaeze Ndigbo South West has been withdraw, Ozonweke who mocked Aguene, took time to clarify the fact that his appointment letter was not withdrawn but rather upgraded.

” Aguene became jittery immediately I was appointed Coordinator, because he felt that I have become his boss, by the fact that I am coordinating the South West Zone, because that position makes me a member of Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide inner cacus and invariably puts him (Aguene) to come under my Supervision.Indeed, My appointment as South West Coordinator, was not withdrawn, rather an addendum was added by the PG, who deemed it right to make me his Personal Assistant,PA, as well as Ohanaeze Ndigbo Coordinator , South West”, he cleared the air.

Going historical on how he got the appointment, Onowu stated that during the PG tenure of Chief Gary Enwo Igarewe, ” I contributed immensely and positively with him from 2013 to 2016.I also established good working relationship with Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide NEC.Then there were beehive of activities at Professor Anya .O. Anya’s house, which was like a consultation office for Ndigbo Lagos , when he was their President General though I was not a member of Ndigbo Lagos. So, when Chief Iwuanyawu visited Lagos, he was highly impressed with my conduct and the efficacies of my contribution.When he went back, he told me that I will be assisting him with the Coordination of the South West and Lagos.Even before his confirmation as PG,I have been in his good books, we have been interacting based on my consultation about the constitution of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide “, he explained.

While putting the records straight on Aguene’s alleged denting of Ozonweke’s image over purported business betrayal of Eze Ekene Ajunwa, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide South West Coordinator, emphatically stated that “because Solomon Aguene’s nature is to tell lies, he has continued to circulate lies against Ozonweke  because of illiteracy and inferiority complex in him”.

Further challenging Igbos to evaluate him and Solomon Ogbonna Aguene and make submission for judgement, Onowu Ozonweke queried thus :”where is Aguene’s sense of reasoning?. Solomon Aguene is a pathological lier because Eze Ekene Ajunwa is the Eze Ndigbo in Olorunda area of Badagry, he was never my master.I never served under him for any trade or business training.We are colleagues in the same ‘Ofu Obi Ndigbo Club ‘.He supported my election bid in 2018 very well and since then, we have been good friends, we have never had any issues .There have never been any common business between us to suggest that I betrayed him in business, not at all “.

“I am the Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Ozo Global Logistics Ltd, I came into the business of freight Forwarding through Chief Frank Uko, the Managing Director of Destiny Intext, I worked with him and within few months, I started my own business.If I had issues with Eze Ekene Ajunwa, he would not have given me the level of receiption and hospitality which he accorded me from Ojoto to Awka  recently, during the burial of Senator Annie Okonkwo”.

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Chieftain warned unwary Igbos and non Igbos to always fact check every information from Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, because according to him, ” Lying is Aguene’s nature and those that take his lies hook line and sinker, always come back regretting and telling tales of woes, because they are being misled.When Aguene lies, you will think that Angels have come down “, he lamented.

He enjoined well meaning Igbos to go to Enugu headquarters of Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide and feed their eyes with numerous negative comments and petitions in Solomon Aguene’s file.

“We all know the disaster and how Solomon Aguene led Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos”, he Mocked.

Speaking on why Chief Solomon Aguene, have been sidetracked during Igbo leaders meeting in Lagos, Onowu Ozonweke categorically Stated that “Solomon Aguene can not be invited to be in a meeting where credible Igbo Leaders are summoned in Lagos, because the best he can do is to cause crisis and constitute nuisance” .

“He has been bragging and seeking for recognition and meeting with Chief Iwuanyawu.As who?, under what platform is he asking for such closed door meeting with the PG who he has been denigrating?”, Ozonweke asked.

Ozonweke in bitter recollection, narrated an ugly incident recently,where Solomon Aguene, was said to have gatecrashed with his retinues of praise singers,at a meeting hosted by an Igbo Elder, Commodore Ebute Ukaiwe in his house, during the first official working visit of Chief Iwuanyawu as PG, and he was asked to leave.” It was an eye sore, that the best Solomon Aguene could do after he was booted out, was to start insulting notable and respected Igbo Leaders, including Commodore Ebute Ukaiwe, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu, Elders of Ndigbo in Lagos and Ohanaeze Ndigbo National Officers “, he lamented.
